His pass to Ray for the three last year was better, higher degree of difficulty.

are you talking about this one?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMprokKY1hI I forget the year but it was still insane.

  Yes, that's it.

My favorite pass from last year doesn't seem to be in any of his highlights that I've seen. I think it was against Memphis last year. He's running near half court on the right edge of the court when someone throws him an outlet pass from a defensive rebound. He reaches back with his left hand to get the pass and in one motion grabs the ball and whips a cross court bounce pass to hit someone (Ray or Paul) in stride for a layup.

that would never work without a big like shaq...

Sometimes I think there's 40oz's of haterade in that OE bottle.

never ever...

nuttin but love..

but the d thought shaq was gonna get the pill from rage...

You're going to make Kiorrik proud using that kind of terminology.

He still had to find Ray and get it there, though. That's pretty impressive.

Maybe Rondo should go play on the and1 tour ;D
Wake me up when he can shoot better than half his free throws.

Ah, yes. Free throw shooting (and outside shooting), the *only* way to judge point guards...

Or just ignore the fact that he cant shoot. Yes shooting free throws is a basic and necessary skill for a point guard.

Most high school points guards shoot better from the line than Rondo. Its a joke.

Yeah but most HS PG's don't rack up 29 points, 13 assists and 18 rebounds in a pretty important NBA playoff game.

TP, ACF.

I can't recall an NBA PG that has posted those kind of numbers in a playoff game, either - except for maybe....Magic?

Love ya, Rondo.

Here are more reasons to love Rajon:

There were comparisons to Larry in this game, too.

And when was the last time an NBA PG made the cover of Sports Illustrated - during the playoffs?

Most high school pgs don't have the brass ones to come back into a playoff game and win after having their elbow dislocated.

After watching that watch this one...

any evidence that JaJuan kid is any good at catching alleyoops? Would be nice to see this in green jerseys, wouldn't it?

And yes, jarufu - I think Jajuan will love Rondo as well:

People say we need to trade Rondo for another pg in order to attract Dwight Howard. Send him some clips like that and tell him that his odds of winning the MVP will go up considerably with a passer like that. He'll think twice before he turns that down.

JJ will run, he can jump very high, and he has good hands...there's every reason to think he'll be able to make those sort of plays. So can Green, and KG, Pierce and Allen can too...sometimes. All that's going to be needed for that to happen is for the C's to actually RUN, RUN, RUN!  A line up of Rondo, West/Bradley, Green, JJ and KG/Baby could be a very dangerous running machine...and their defense wouldn't be too bad either.

OH, but...I'd still love for Danny to go get Faried. JJ can elevate, but not like Faried.

Quote
Rondo became the third player in playoff history to have at least 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Oscar Robertson had 32 points, 19 rebounds and 13 assists in 1963, and Wilt Chamberlain had 29 points, 36 rebounds and 13 assists in 1967.
