I'd be curious for the teams that have been involved in a lot of trades (HP, BFM, Rondo, GC among others) to post what their deals netted.

I mapped mine out, and it looks like this:

Quote
Dirk Nowitzki + Jason Kidd + Vince Carter + Ramon Sessions + Wesley Johnson + Ron Artest + Kyle Singler + Nats #2

for

Dwight Howard + Jrue Holiday + Tony Parker + J.R. Smith + J.J. Redick + Matt Bonner + Nate Robinson + MK #2 + GC/YH #2 + right to swap 1st rounders with MK and/or Edgar

I've traded six out of the sixteen players on my roster, plus a guy picked in this year's draft.  Along the way, I acquired, and then re-traded, James Harden, Delonte West, and Avery Bradley.

Anybody else interested in mapping out where you started vs. where you ended up (or at least, where you are to date)?  I'm genuinely curious.

Not too mention that you essentially did the same youth movement. Swapping Dirk, Kidd, and Carter for DH, Holiday, and Parker. You probably cut ~6 years off of the average age of those three prime-time players w/o loosing much or any production.

Yeah, that was definitely my intent.  I saw a team that was on the cusp of 1987 Celtics territory, and I wanted to make some moves to get younger.  This off-season was all about extending the window, since my former team just wouldn't have been good enough to compete with blake, et. al., going forward.

I only made 2 moves but it boils down to:

Out: Chase Budinger, Aaron Brooks, Al Harington

In: Designated Drinkers #2, Tione's Boys #2, Dorrell Wright, Randy Foye, Eric Maynor

Looks better with Brooks stuck in China for the year.

In & Out: Joe Johnson

IMO, You have certainly upgrade your top 3-4 positions. Which is scary since u were a top 3 team last season.

Very impressive.  Giving up a player with as much potential as Irving is always tough, but you upgraded at just about every position and set your team up better going into the future.

Thanks, Roy. Getting younger was my top priority going into this season.

OUT:  Elton Brand, Drew Gooden, Randy Foye, Andrew Bogut, Francisco Garcia, Jordan Hill, Al Thornton, Jeff Foster

IN: Tyrus Thomas, Corey Brewer, Kemba Walker, Brandon Roy, Klay Thompson, Ekpe Udoh, Omer Asik, GC's 1st, Webskins' 1st.  Also Brandon Knight, Iman Shumpert, & Terrence Williams via draft day picks and trade.

Big youth movement over here, and a shift from frontcourt depth to backcourt.  Like my team's potential - the roster has gone from stuck in the middle this year without much room to improve to near the bottom with loads of possible improvement.

Bogut was the only really core piece you moved (with Brand being a good player in the short term), so I think you did well to end up with Kemba, Thompson, and two #1s.  Asik and Udoh have some potential, and Roy and Thomas are guys who could go either way.

Nice job in rebuilding quickly.
