Kinda dissapointed there wasnt more reaction to our blockbuster, but i guess that means it was a fair deal!
I think everybody is just scared that the 2287s are turning into a contender before their eyes.
Or that it was announced at 9:45 pm
Or that reaction has been generally frowned upon
Personally I think it's a very fair deal, but I much prefer Designated Drinkers' side.... that may be that I'm not a big Bynum fan (b/c of the constant risk of injury), and that I *am* a fan of Bledsoe's upside and Blatche (as a fantasy player, not in real life).
My worry about Blatche is that the league will someday wake up and realize that, while talented, playing him hurts a team more than it helps it. Guys like that can quickly find themselves going 15 shot attempts per game to 7 or 8. He's got great production, though, and maybe he'll "get it" like Zach Randolph did.
I think Rondo probably sold high on Blatche, and bought low on Bynum a bit. Bynum is better than the 11 points and 9 rebounds he put up last year. He's got as much upside as any player in the entire NBA, relative to his current production. At the same time, he's missed 17+ games in 5 of his 6 seasons, so who knows?
It won't shock me if, in 3 years, we're calling this a steal for Rondo, or a steal for BFM, or an even deal. It's one of the very few trades that can go either way.
