I like all the bars so far, to be honest.
Things I like about each bar:
Lucky's: Sam Malone pouring my Murphy's while I listen to Eric Clapton
Rank And File: One of the best beer selections, a band I really like (Wilco), an iconic bartender, and a hilarious entertainment act (Aniz Ansari, or, for those who don't know, R-R-R-R-R-RANNNNDY!). Nice. Its a couple times a weeker if it was in my town.
The Pandacracy Zen & Kung Fu Pub: This bar is like if Six-Flags and my favorite bar had a baby. I don't like crowds much, I've been engaged for almost a year (so the dancing..meh), and I hate U2, but I would go to this bar if for nothing else the beer, the LIIT's by Issac Washington, and the pure spectacle of it all. Plus, cool T-Shirts!
Room 112: I'll drink Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. beer while I talk to Bill Murray and wait for the Roots to come on (I'm not big on Prince or MMJ, but I know they're both solid..just not a big fan). You had me at Bill Murray, but I'd try to get there during the down time to pick his brain.
Donaghy's: The best beer and food combo in the game (by my preference). The bands wouldn't make me go to or avoid the place, and I'm equally ambivalent on Bags (are my friends there? Am I getting drunk? Then I love it.), but oh good lord, the beer and the food is amazing. This is a multiple times a week kinda joint for me. Is there a happy hour?
The Cause And The Cure: I love Andre The Giant, Jeff Bridges, Tequila, The White Stripes, and Cheesesteaks. I can't wait to try Bell's Seasonals and Throwing Things At Nickleback. I don't like Pearl Jam. Love this bar. This would probably be on the Friday/Saturday circuit to make sure I caught the White Stripes.
Shenanigans: I like Weezer and Pool. I would go to this bar to see those two things, but the beers aren't my favorites (the ones I know), me no likey Tom Cruise, and Beef Sliders are a bigger tease than Natalie Portman's 'naked' scene in 'Your Highness'.
Sam & Ellas: I like just about everything about this bar. The beer is tops on the "I can't wait to try them all!" list, I like Irish Car Bombs and Louis CK. I'd enjoy shooting the crap with Hef and the Most Interesting Spokesperson. I can't wait to try that gutbuster sandwich thing or whatever. I'm down man.
Wallingford Social Club: TV, wings, at least one top end IPA (that I've never tried), and an American Hero. That's enough to take my Sundays.
The Rusty Nail: Secret: I love potato skins and fishbowls.
Shecky's: I would go to this bar for Tom Waits' bartending alone. The Old Rasputin, Pinball (which is a love of mine), and burgers are enough to make it an early evening favorite.
