Paul has been misunderstood and hated by some around the league most of his career.  Even Boston fans hated him at one time (and some still do).  For that reason, I think he really takes to heart the fans that appreciate him, especially the ones that wear his jersey :D.

Oh, and tp to the OP.  That was a real exciting experience you had. 8)

He came out of the bathroom and signed my jersey (gave me his sharpie lol) and took a picture with me. I told him if he could flash his championship ring in the picture and he said "nah man this ring is ours and all the Celtics fans out there."
When I got at his table there was no one watching him til I got there . Everyone thought we actually knew eachother because I had his jersey on and he kept saying "you see that my man" after every hand he won. Some drunk red sox fans were trying to get his autograph while he was playing poker but he told them if he was going to give out autographs he would have to give everyone autographs. Then he said he would give me his autograph first because I was the only one wearing his jersey. But yea he started out with 30k chips and finished with 62k chips. If you are in vegas Monday go check him out. I am going for sure but idk if he would get annoyed if I ask him for another autograph on my Celtics fitted and picture.

TP, great story!  Paul seems like a good guy and it was nice of him to hook you up like that.  I got his autograph a few years ago after a game but he seemed like he was in a little too much of a rush to be very friendly.  :)

I am still in shock man.
I felt like I was in the "make a wish" program. Got a picture with him, got him to sign my jersey, talked to him for a good hour, and he told me to come back tomorrow any time after 12 pm.
What else could I ask for from my favorite basketball player since I was a little kid.
I am not going to ask for his autograph unless he offers again. I might ask for another picture. I will let you guys know how tomorrow goes
