Best backcourt so far; is it:

A. Nash-Kobe
B. Curry-Martin
C. Deron-Monta

In terms of pure efficiency and fit, I think it might be B.

Nash + Kobe = head and shoulders above the competition

I would have to argue that Nash and Kobe would probably be unstoppable.

kobe and nash have arguably the top basketball IQ's in the league if that means anything.

True, true.

I might have to switch my answer.

Why don't you ask Scal's bank account if basketball IQ means anything? haha

Edgar you robbed me blind.

Anyway...

With the 17th pick in the 2nd round, the Orlando Magic choose:

Al Jefferson

I don't understand this pick. There's a center available who I think is SIGNIFICANTLY better

The Celtics select one of the last legit 20 ppg scorers, Eric Gordon.

Solid, solid pick.

I don't know about the Curry & Martin combo, defensively anyone with any kind of height and/or weight could give them some real difficulty.

Oh, definitely. Going to need to complement them with defenders.

Most certainly they need help on defensively.  But offensively both guys do not need the ball everytime down court and both score with tremendous efficiency.

I love me some Eric Gordon.

Don't know if I would've gone with him here though.

I get the pick.  His low post game is the best offensive weapon left in the draft.

I would have.  He was 2nd on my list after Granger.  Good outside shot and gets to the line.  He is a better defender then you think.

I disagree there too, I got one guy offensively ahead of Al Jefferson though they're quite different.

People don't know how good Gordon is because he plays for the losing Clippers.

I was torn between him and Granger at 2.3. Would have gone Granger, but I thought it was close.

It does when the game is on the line in crunch time. That's a mean 1 to 2 pick and roll or pop too.

I think anyone who watches the NBA enough has seen a great deal of Clippers games.

i just love his effort on loose balls and defensively.  For a kid who is touted as a scorer he really gets after it hustle-wise.  Might of been a little early for me but i'll never take anything away from him.
