  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
If it was not his "decision", and all the Cavs. Do you think he would be the super villain he is today? Would people still like him? There would definitely be Miami bandwagons, but could we still trash on Lebron if it wasn't his "Decision"?

Well, I would. And here are some reasons why.

yes

because the reason why i hate him now is how he left Cleveland...not because he left

if you decide to leave then sure, i think hes a p****, but at least he left quietly

he made the decision, and told everyone that Miami is the best chance he has to get a ring

you know whats thats like?

its like you have a girlfriend, and you told everyone at a party that you're going to dump her for another girl because that girl provides better things for you...

yeh i think after that everyone will hate you after

yes, because he's arrogant, smug, gets away with murder on the court, and most importantly, is on the other team. however, the hate would be exponentially lower.

I don't think there would be nearly as much hate for him, but there would still be a lot of bitterness towards him, especially from Cleveland (since the team wouldn't trade him unless he pulled a Melo).

KG is 2/3 of those. He can't get away with murder because the judges/refs are biased (They don't like people who yell at them).

well, i already hated him somewhat in cleveland mainly because he's the enemy, and just comes off as very unlikeable with his comments and pressers. But being all coy and such a tease during the year before when he was still under contract, during the playoffs before and after the cavs' elimination, and all throughout FA plus the Decision plus the WWE-level celebration are what really put it over the top though.

There's a ton of reasons to hate LeBron.  I doubt anyone would hate him for just being on the Heat.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

TP... he forced that! I would not like him for being on the opponents team, no matter what! I dislike him more for how he dissed Clev. Could you imagine having years of no one wanting to or coming to your team, your team always sucks, then you get a guy who could turn out to be the best ever (lol) and he dips on you to go to greener pastures? I feel bad for them, that's where most of my disdain comes from!

I just realized I forgot to give u ur TP, my bad!

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Truthfully I wasn't mad at him for leaving. I mean he wanted to win and felt he had a better chance at winning in Miami then in Cleveland and he did what he felt was right. I really wasn't even all that and with the Decision.

BUT what made me angry with him and not like him anymore was the arrogance he and the other two started to show when they joined up. They were celebrating before winning a game and were just confident in winning championships like it was a piece of cake. I understand knowing you're good, but you don't have to broadcast it to the world in a arrogant and cocky manner. The "not 1, not 2...not 7, but multiple championships," "we are the best big 3 ever assembled" said by Wade, and the one that angered me the most the "it's gonna be easy all we have to do is get on the court." Those comments were to me a slap in the face to many teams who could beat them.
Then when put in their place he played the "I'm the victim and want some sympathy because my master plan backfired" role.
To me what they should have done was look at some of Bostons big 3 interviews when they first joined and emulate them. Come off as humble and grateful to be together. The way KG/Ray/Paul handled themselves in interviews together when they first joined up was why they had so many supporters for them instead of "haters".

My dislike of him has always been with the fact that he is a deeply flawed player who was annoited without winning anything.  His flaws while largely mental are immense.  That being said, he is immensely physically talented maybe the best ever package of strength, power, jumping ability and speed ever in a 6'8" Adonis type body.  His shooting is streaky as heck and has been.   He hasn't really showed vast improvement since entering the league.  I think the media is just now seeing this kid for what he is really is and that is  a choke artist of the grandest scale.   I have known for this years having lived in Ohio for his whole career.  I form opinions from what I see not what I am told by the talking heads.

Honestly, I don't hate the guy, I could care less where he plays.  What I hate is the hype that is largely undeserved.  He isn't a Jordan type he is a Dominique Wilkins type stat machine but not a winner who shies from pressure.  I am Celtic fan so I thought him leaving Cleveland was awesome because I had heard how great he was for years and I found it very funny that he would bail on his home town.   That being said, he left in about the worst manner possible and it's obvious that he is very dumb or has very bad handlers with the " Special".  Cleveland deserved better treatment as they had nigh worshipped him as a basketball god.

He continues to be his own worst enemy.   His arrogance and attitude crush any chance he has to become a winner.   If he just got into the gymn and devoloped a better jumper he would be unstoppable.  But he has drank his own kool-aid and believes his own hype like so many here...

No one really hated him because he has chosen the Heat over any other team. He was hated more on how he went about when he picked the Heat, his actions combine with the other 2 stooges. Plus anyone who talks about themselves and actually labels himself "the King" in his everyday life is really that hate-able, never fails to project self entitlement really. If you look carefully at what he does, its always something that will rub his ego the right way. ;)

If not for The Decision, I wouldn't care that he went to Miami, even if it was as a free agent.
