you the one who offers me your 2nd 3rd and 4th
keep it on mind you almost had that valuable 9th pick on your pocket
LOL...we have the 2nd pick in the draft and people weren't offering anything close to that when we put it up in trade.

Based upon how the voting has gone in past years, I'd give up a 2/3/4 for a top-2 selection.  Having either Lebron or Howard basically guarantees you a trip to the Conference Finals.  Pair either with another first rounder, and it would be pretty hard to lose, I think.  My guess is that you and Rondo are too savvy to make that deal, even if offered.

As for Edgar's offer, I might not make that deal if I had a high #2 and #3.  If I picked low in the 2nd or 3rd, though?  Absolutely.  The chance to pair two top-nine players together is an easy trip to the Finals.

Same was said of Heat winning the title this year and the Lakers in 2008... guaranteed.

Some guarantees turn out to not be so written in stone.

Here in our own CB Draft, somehow having LBJ didn't gurantee the Magics (with JRich, Marc Gasol, Kirk Hinrich) a trip to the Finals in '09....

Appreciate your insights Roy, but lets wait until a pick is made before punching anyone's ticket huh?  ;)

Yea last year was the first year of modified snake.  I think my Melo led team beat GC's team in game 7 after  double overtime, 2 tie votes I think.

Didn't you have Tim Duncan?

TD was the anchor of a Duncan-Granger-JRich team that was also underrated (That was the Gortat in the 15th Rd. team)

Yeah i think Tim Donaghy (sp?) was counting those votes  8)
(closest matchup ever? ORL fell victim to early Lebron hate...)

For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm easy going and only half-heartedly outraged by any of these past drafts... onward! Let's have a great draft... UBUNTU Y'ALL!

1. Two things though - this'll be the first year of the 24 team modified snake. I have a feeling some of those guys with later drafts are going to create some interesting lineup

2. The argument against Dwight Howard without a strong supporting cast is obvious, particularly after this last season.
