David Lightly, Greg Smith, Willie Reed, Ben Hansborough are names the Celtics were connected to before the draft.
A post was made about Gilbert Brown getting an invite from Danny.
Any informatoin or thoughts about who's next?

We're already going to have two rookies and Avery, I don't think we have another spot for an inexperienced player.

I wouldn't rule out a trade and obviously the C's are interested enough to go through this exercise.

I'd like to see Greg Smith get an invite to camp.

Deuce. Really surprised no one took a flyer; great size, good athleticism, very good rebounder as a sophomore. Don't get it. I'd sign him right now, and see what he does in practice/D league.

I agree about Smith, and Clover makes a good point about trades. I have to think the more we get to eveluate the better for us. I don't think the old guys at the end of the bench were giving us anything that would justify taking a fly on some raw talent.

I'm just saying that ultimately our hopes next year are tied to the health and play of our big four. At this point Danny needs to find a way to fill the end of the roster for cheap. What better way to do that than an undrafted rookie?
As far as I can tell what this team really needs at this stage is a serviceable center and to resign a couple of our own free agents (namely Delonte and Jeff Green). After that it's mostly about finding good deals on guys who can contribute in a pinch.
