Watching the NBA Finals and looking at how RCarlisle manages his player minutes, makes me jealous.  I would say, Doc is last at managing minutes on this list of renowned coaches(see above).

I mean, playing a one arm Rondo while having DWest and Carlos Arroyo riding the pine is inexcusable...and that's just one example.

I really like Doc and want him as our coach, I am just pointing out his biggest weakness...and it's big.

The team did better with Rondo playing than it did with Rondo on the bench after his injury. That seems like a reasonable excuse fir playing him.

Doc's strengths: player (personality) management, certain  in game situations like plays off of time-outs (both defensive, but more-so offensive), motivating players, engendering loyalty in players and public speaking and PR

I am sure that there are others that I have missed.

Doc's weaknesses: Minutes management, timing of player substitution (strategy-wise to take advantage of match-ups, not just the aforementioned minutes), timing of time-outs during opposing teams runs, not trusting rookies at all and seemingly sometimes having a preconceived notion of a player and almost being impossible to get moved off that position.

As with the positives, I am sure that there are some negatives that I have missed.

Yes, I actually like Pops minutes management.  I like how he brings Ginobili off the bench to keep balance in his line ups.  Why do you dislike it more than Doc's put 5 bench players or 4 bench players and 1 starter out there line ups?

PS  After watching Carlisle throughout the playoffs, I've been really impressed with him.  Obviously it helps that Dirk is going bananas and Marion really stepped up, but I like how he makes rotations with that team.
do it

Pops? I think Pops has done a pretty good job of extending Manu's and Ducan's carreer by keeping their minutes as low as possible.

The notion that Doc refuses to play rookies is not true.  As a matter of fact, he ended up giving fairly substantial minutes to Semih Erden and Luke Harangody last season.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Oh, I didn't read the second half of the title.
