The Cavaliers have yet to see what they have in Erden because of shoulder and groin surgeries and a lack of conditioning. The Celtics relayed to Cleveland that Erden needed shoulder surgery, but the groin issue is new. Erden played in just four games after being acquired from the Celtics Feb. 24.

I personally liked Semih and think he can be a solid pf/c in the league.

I don't think we can make a fair assessment of the guy given that he was playing with a bum shoulder the entire time he was with us. There were times he looked really weak because he would repeatedly have the ball stripped from his hands but we don't know if that's a result of physical weakness or a repercussion of the injury.
