Shaq will be back...we'll be off to a good start...like we have been the past few years...then Danny Ainge will get cocky and over confident again and trade another starter for a player who has good potential on paper but can't do much when he is on the court.

Counting on Shaq to make it through the season healthy is like counting on Marquis Daniels to make it through the season healthy.

Or like counting on Delonte West to make it through the season healthy.

He wil be 40 years old and weighs between 350-400 pounds. he simply won't be healthy. He should retire.

While I agree with this to a point, if his leg does return to 100% by next year, would you rather give that roster spot to him, with the chance that they could catch lightning in a bottle and he could help them, or give it to some NBDL player who has no chance of seeing the floor?

If he does come back, he is not going to play many regular season games because you know he is going to get hurt. So, if they want to pay him the league minimum to be the 13-15th guy for most of the season, I guess that would make sense. And maybe he gives them something in the playoffs and the last 15-30 games of the season. I still say, however, he is too old and big to really produce much.

I knew this time would soon be here... I was/am still in denial a bit though. I think I may go crazy. Please, just give it one more try! What am I gonna do w/o Shaq?? [dang], time goes at the speed of light when you're having fun. I need to get help right now b/c I am gonna be messed up when it happens. I know he's just a basketball player but one I have loved since before I was 5! Do they have 1-800 hot-lines for fans of retired players? LOL
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
