Pro athletes dont gain major weight(20+ pounds) due to a knee injury. they maybe gain 5 pounds and will need to get there wind back after. look at any true pro who has major reconstructive knee surgery, they have to stay off that knee for months yet they find a way to not balloon up in weight. when you have access to world class trainers who can teach you things you can do without putting pressure on the knee(swimming anyone?) that will help you stay in shape you have no excuse for not staying in shape.
Thank You Perk didn't ballon no 20 pounds. He tried to stay in shape because he was committed to getting better. Jermaine had knee surgery and stayed in shape. No excuses for ballooning 20 pounds and he knows it along with the team no more excuses.

Glen Davis has single handily set the Celtics back. I have absolutely no respect for him, big or slim Baby as player. I have loathe every minute of him after Leon went down to injury giving this dummy playing time. Three seasons ago he cried on the bench after Portland scrubs came back from a 26 point lead to 11 and somehow we as Celtics fans and Sean Grande wonder how this team keeps giving up leads? Grown out is more what I've seen from Baby. Baby was not a sixth man contender, final tallies without stupid Boston writers shouldn't have had him in running. Baby didn't make any defensive team or votes despite being this season's crash dummy, shocker. Eulogize all you want, but if this was his last night disrespecting the Celtics' jersey than I'm going to the Common and celebrate the fall of a simply put, embarrassment. Good Riddance.

I have been writing bad things about Baby for the past 4 years.  His poor play never surprises me, and even terrible players get lucky now and again.  I can't wait to watch a celtics team with out Baby on it.  I just wish we would have a coach that doesn't fall in love with terrible players.  Go Celtics!

I was wondering where I'd see BBD's physique before. He's clearly headed down to Wonka Factory. Thanks for your services BBD but it's time to move on.
