is mind boggling. Even worse KG passing to the ball to Rondo. what are they thinking? Two handed Rondo already is a liability on offense. Take one hand away and you are doomed. Dumb dumb dumb decision by the coach. Equally as idiotic KG passing him the ball.

edit: I'm not blaming Rondo. Bless his heart he is giving the Celtics everything he can. But lets not forget he is HANDICAPPED. The decision to play him in crucial situation can't be excused.

I disagree. Taking Rondo out and running Paul Pierce hero ball instead was bound to kill us.

Doc has been out coached all series. Why no Shaq? Yeah, I know he is really hurting out there. But a Shaq a one leg is still a way better player than a Glen Davis with two.

Doc isn't the reason we lost tonight.

Yep. Dumb.  Should have played Delonte and JO.  Why do we have go small just because they did?  Why not punish them with size?

Plain and simple. Heat play better small ball,  so what do you do ??? Play small for the for the 4th qt and OT.  With JO and Shaq on the Bench that is plain dumb.  With the Heat lineup,  Shaq should have been put in and abused Bosh.

Doc isn't the reason we lost tonight.

... and neither is Rondo.

KG, maybe.  Lack of rebounding, definitely.

Rondo missed a crucial wide open layup that could have solidified the win. How does he not deserve a good deal of blame?

I'm not saying Rondo is the reason Celtics lost. But the decision to play him in clutch situation when he is clearly handicapped like i said is mind boggling. Kudos to Rondo being a warrior. But Doc should play Able-bodied at the end instead of Rondo. He is handicapped. Dumb decision by Doc.

Rondo's missed layup was like Buckner's error. Just inexcusable. You can't make those kind of mistakes and expect to beat a team like the Heat. Courage doesn't translate into good play, unfortunately.

You might as well say that Ray deserved a good deal of blame because he missed that technical free throw early in the game that could have prevented OT.

People miss layups.  Ray missed a FT -- is it his fault we lost?

Our two worst players tonight were our power forwards.  When KG goes 1-for-10, I think it's hard to assign any large chunk of blame to Rondo.

His subs were awful this series. This was a horrible job. JO sits on the bench for absolutely no reason. Jeff green in ot, Rondo on the bench. Just bad coaching. Put davis in instead of Shaq and we get hammered for it.

Just a few reasons, there are many more.

Gundy now has a colleague in his ranks for the Master od Panic Club.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Because the Rondo-less lineup that started OT was clearly more effective than having him out there.

KungPowe, a basketball game is made of more than one play.  Rondo's layup wasn't the only shot we missed all night, and also credit the Heat for making some incredible shots.
