LOL @ ppl blaming the loss on Rondos missed layup. It doesnt matter that KG was 1-10 from the field or anything. Nope. Doesnt matter that we had 17 turnovers. Nope. That missed layup was what killed us  ::)

No, that is not the point. Obviously being tied at that point was because of a lot of other issues. The point is simple: at that point in the game Rondo had an easy layup and it is very likely this game ends as a 2-point Boston win. It's not blaming Rondo for the loss, it is being sad at a win that got away.

Whatever failures got us into a tie game that late are one thing. Missing an easy layup and going from 2-2 to 1-3...well, it sucks. I am not blaming Rondo for the loss, I am just sad about what could have been and 9/10 would have been.

IF you have DVR rewind it to when the celtics were down by 4 i think and KG missed the little bunny and no one got the rebound. Rewind it to see Jeff Green being pulled down by his arm to the ground and no call. 15 seconds later d wade pushes off delonte no call.

I'm not blaming the refs. The celtics blew this game on thier own. Poor execution down the stretch, going way from what they started the game with and just terrible coaching but I have never seen so many no calls and so many bad calls in the same series.

Blowing up the team is a bad idea, and besides, this discussion is premature. It's not over yet.

LeBron James was incredible tonight. 35 points and 14 rebounds.

Kept his team close when they were struggling in the first and closed the game out late on. Was dominant on the boards. He has done a truly tremendous job on the backboards in the playoffs this season.

Celtics had sooo many shots go halfway down. So brutal.

The worst part is that this team should have won so many more banners before this. Gah.

Being as rational as one can be, the truth is we did not lose this because of Rondo’s layup (actually Rondo was amazing playing with one arm), Ray missed technical FT, PP’s late turnovers etc….we lost because KG had no legs (which is understandable) and, most important, because we are lacking one more man in the bench, since Delonte and Green are the only ones helping !!!!

If Big Baby cannot help us, maybe it is time for Doc try something different (Pavlovic? Murphy? I know it would be desperate, but…)

All of those midseason acquisitions and not one of them has reliably contributed in the playoffs. Green has had 1 good game and today was up and down.

blech.
