Where's the "tear down the basket and hurt LeBron in the process" option?

I was looking for that one too. LOL

But seriously, I just want to play well.  Rebound, make those easy baskets and give some hard fouls to Lebron and Wade.

All he needs to do is discourage Wade and LeBron from getting to the rim.  We don't need any cheap hits, but we need some solid, physical hits.  That's what we're missing the most, IMHO; a physical presence in the middle (other than JO) to discourage the slashers.

Kind of funny I had a dream about the game last night (yeah pathetic) and Shaq was obviously playing and he was flirting with a triple double. He was gettin double teamed and just kept dishing it to people. And he was beasting. I woke up in a pretty good mood

We don't need em, but I'd enjoy the hell out of it if someone Kermit Washington'd Lebron James.

A triple double?   I hope it happens.  ;D

This to the entire Miami team:

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Do you think Shaq will make a difference?

Here's the real question?  Do you think Shaq will make a difference with the team's lackluster performance?  I do.  I think he will keep them from getting to the rim and provide some scoring.  I really hope he can stay healthy.  If so we have a great chance to get to the finals.

I want him to make it through 15 minutes without re-injury.  If he can do that, I think we're the better team.

Even as an eternal optimist I don't know how I feel about 15 minutes. I'd be happy with 10, and a little on edge if/when he made it over that mark

It's got to help.  If the C rotation is JO/Shaq instead of JO/BBD, at the very least that's addition-by-subtraction.  We need that big presence in the middle, although I kind of think they're going to attack him anyway.  Shaq's been terribly slow on his feet even when healthy, it's going to be hard for him to get in position when they drive.  Worry is that Shaq picks up a lot of quick fouls and we end up in the penalty early.

I'd say 4 minutes at the start of the game, 3 minutes at the beginning of the 2nd, 4 minutes to begin the 3rd, and 4 minutes at the start of the 4th.

The key (based on, err, my advanced medical training) is to play him in short, regular bursts.

10 to 15 minutes of him playing big while increasing JO's minutes by 5 minutes.

No playing small and fast against the Heat.  They are the better small fast team.  Celtics have shown to be the better big controlled team.

Are you suggesting he start or just saying 4 minutes in first quarter?

I know he's not starting, just looking for some clarification on your thoughts.
