94 percent of teams who has lost the first two games in a 7-game series have lost the series. So, there is a 6 percent chance the Celts will win this. Not great, but better than nothing.

We have one game to win, in Boston, Shaq back...IF we win it then doubt starts to creep in Miami's head.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
The Celtics have always had that Mystique about them to rise up when things look their bleakest. They have always been teams with tremendous pride, heart and character. It seems the best come out of them when they are left for dead. When all the naysayers are convinced we are doomed, the Celtics rise up.

I absolutely expect that out of this group of guys. Once the roar of our home crowd gets our boys fired up. They'll rediscover confidence and put fear into the Miami Heat. If we go down, we go down swinging. The Heat have not in any way won this YET! The Celtics are facing adversity, the Heat haven't yet. When the going gets tough, we'll see who is mentally tougher.

We may not come out and win this series but...

We ain't going out like that!

We haven't played well...but we haven't lost a home game yet. I'm concerned, but I'm not worried just yet. Now, if we lose 1 of the next 2 at home, we're in serious trouble. But let's not cross that bridge until we come to it...which hopefully we don't. I also see us missing a lot of shots we normally hit. Miami is playing good D...but we just aren't hitting our shots. That by itself could change the series.

Stats are made to be broken, and miracles greater than this happen every minute of every day ... this is not just any team or any city, you're talking about Celtic Pride and honor, and these guys are not out of this ... not by a long shot. If it were any other team I'd be more worried than I am, but these guys have stunned the doubters too many times for me to give in to the pessimism.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
It's about winning one game at a time.
I doubt we're ever gonna see a more fired up Celtics team than the next two games at home.
When things are on the line and this team needs to execute when it counts most, they bring their best.

Our crowd + Shaq + the big 3's realization that this could be the end of the road is going to bring out the beast within.
If we win game three there are going to be serious seeds creeping into Miami's head. Mentally weak guys like Bosh and Lebron get affected by things like this and I am just praying we win game 3.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
