Sometimes you just have to believe because their is nothing else you can do.  Crazier things have happened before and I believe in this team and think they can and will get it done.

Let's Go Celtics!!

You must be confused. You posted this on CB? Do you know who you are talking to on here?

This board has become embarrassing since the calender turned to April.

I agree with you GreenEnvy that we should never give up hope, but don't knock the board even if I and you beleive that people press the panic button to soon.

You know...

People want to insinuate that guys like me, who have been extremely frustrated and angry about how this season has turned out, and who have become resigned to the mediocrity of the team that's now on the floor...

You want to insinuate that a guy like me's not a real fan or an embarrassment.

To hell with that.  If I didn't love this team so [dang] much, I wouldn't be so p---ed about everything that's gone down in the past few months.

I don't doubt anyone's fanhood on here, because the only reason most even find this site is because of digging for C's news.

But how some people forget all the good this team has accomplished as recently as a few weeks ago, is beyond me.

People were obsessed with two close wins AT HOME against NY. Then we played differently.

We have proven, whether it was three years ago or three games ago, that this team is capable.

We lost two games, big deal. If it was a best of three, I'd be a lot drunker right now. But it is a best of SEVEN.

I am sure there are many, many more fans here on CB that believe this series is over than Miami fans think this is done.

I ain't quitting on this team, and I won't stop cheering until the clock reads 0.00. And even if we do lose, (which isn't likely) I'm wearing my Celtics gear the very next day. I'm from L.A., and yet, I only have room in my heart to only cheer for one team of any sport, and that is the Boston Celtics.

You mean since the Celtics have been playing about .500 ball don't you? This team looked very average until they beat the Knicks 5 straight times.

People are just calling it like it is. Some call it realism.  I want to believe, and still hope that they can make it a 2-2 series. But unless 2 of the original Big 3 have very good games, I BELIEVE we are in some trouble.

I sure hope I am wrong.
We all think we know more than we really do....

How many teams have come back to win the series after losing the first two games? I know the Celts have only done it once. Oh well, it ain't over until Glen Davis starts to sing.

I don't think it's the end of the world. I thought the Celtics would steal game 1, but it was mission:impossible. Stealing the first game is always easier, but they didn't figure out how to beat them. So now they need to pull an epic comeback... think about the Bruins in the first round against the Habs.

I believe in the Celtics, as they are the better team. They just haven't played like they should, but they'll start at home. Winning games 3 and 4 is crucial, and I believe they can do it. Then, everything starts from zero, and LeChoke has shown before he isn't that warrior he pretends to be.

The Celtics will win in game 7, making it even harder for LeChoke.

Go Celtics! Go Celticbloggers! Anything's possible!

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'm going to repeat what I said last game.
The Heat have played out of their minds. Both the leagues worst bench and the leagues best duo have played above and beyond expectations for 2 games in a row.
In both games we've been in the game right down until the last 7 minutes. This game we were tied at 80 with 7 minutes left before they went on a tear.

Keep the faith guys, we have four days off and it's going to be hard but we can easily defend these two games at home- it's not unrealistic at all.
It's more unrealistic that the Heat shoot this well, particularly Lebron and Wade with the Boston fans in their ear.
History shows that being down 2-0 means you probably won't win the series, but of the teams in history that have come back, this Celtics team has to be the toughest one of them all to attempt it.
We are still in this, we will be at home for 2 games and shaq will be back... we just have to take the hard road...which we've taken many times before.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

TP to the OP and everyone who has left a positive comment here. This team plays it's best when it's back is against the wall, and I have faith that they will "not go gentle into that good night". This ride is far from over.

To be more clear, even though I have a strong dislike of the medical staff on this team, and get very frustrated with their play, and sometimes don't think they Deserve to win doesn't mean I don't Want them to win.

To quote some guys

Gene Hackman: I don't deserve this.

Clint Eastwood: Deserve has nothin to do with it
