Just saw this article, doesn't seem like it's serious but ya never know. Imagine if he missed a game and the Hornets went up 3-2?

I know it's not gonna happen. But part of me is starting to think NO may actually be able to upset these guys. How funny would it be?http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AiikuNad87UmGKqVxLQ6_fS8vLYF?slug=mc-kobe_bryant_injury_foot_swollen_042411

*EDIT* might help if i paste the link eh? :P
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Always seems to happen in the last 2 minutes of games :P That's gotta suck, mentally.

It looked really bad last night. He was barely walking around.

Of course he finished the game out but they were subbing offense for defense and he was noticeably limping around out there.

I certainly won't lose sleep over it.  If the C's can lose KG in '09 and the Lakers can win it all, I have zero problem with a Kobe injury getting the Lakers eliminated en route to Banner #18 for us.

I'd much rather play the Lakers than the Thunder.

Perhaps.  But you never know.  The Spurs could bounce back, or the Mavs could make a run.  And while Durant is scary, the Thunder are still relatively one (or I guess two, dimensional).

And it still doesn't change my initial sentiment: I can live with Kobe hurt.

The saddest thing is that LA is looking more and more mortal.....it is funny, though, how the announcers seem to be making excuses for these guys.

I saw Kobe limping around last night, and from what TNT were saying it would only get worse. On their plane trip back to LA kobe will not be able to elevate it, which will lead to more swelling.

Deep down, I am believing that we may not see LA in June...to that matter, we have to get through MIA and CHI/ORL or ATL ourselves, but LA is in fact looking more and more like us - "old and hobbled."

I am so thankful that at least our "Core Four" looks as spry as ever.

To be honest hes really tough
the ankle twist looked back in the moment
but he never refuse to play and gave a great pass that Llama miss
a second later.
hes a warrior, as much as i dislike him as a person even more now
i like him as a player even more now.
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Nice to be back!

There are not enough Hail Mary's to undo what you just said ;)

I don't mind Kobe, why couldn't this happen to Fisher. Now there is a guy that deserves pain, and lots of it.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

well, Aaron Gray's twisted ankle in game 1 looked waaay harder.

I think it's a minor twist, and I hope they don't use that as an excuse. As much as I hate the Lakers, and as much as I'd love to see the Celtics crush them in the Finals, injuries are a part of sports.

Don't worry for him, Kobe will be there, and he'll get his praise over being a warrior and all, but players play through injuries. Semih and Perk have played with bad shoulders, banging inside, the Captain has played through injuries in 09, Sheed injured his back against Orlando and played through that pain until the end... Kobe is a tough guy, ok, but he's Kobe, not Conan the Barbarian.

And the Lakers are old... but they are still a much better team than the Hornets. Dallas will be a tough matchup for them unless they meltdown, and OKC and SA would have a chance, but I still see them getting out of the west.

I'm just hoping that LA makes it to the Finals, but I won't cry much if they falter along the way. Back in 86, I was expecting LA to be a victim of Boston's Prime back then - until Sampson threw up that miraculous shot at the buzzer in the Western Conference Finals.

After seeing those clowns celebrate in LA last June? I just want to get Banner 18 at their expense.

All I want is another encore from Cool Assassin Ray:

Man - to see DFish upset like that AGAIN would be priceless.

I was watching the game when it happened and to me it looked a lot worse live than it actually was. It looked like he leg just gave out.
