I don't think he's "done" ... his NBA career is certainly not going to be what it could have been, (and that's an immense shame), but people with this type of injury can often respond with surprisingly positive mobility and activity levels.
He can't produce on a level like he did tonight on a regular basis, because there's simply not enough soft-tissue left to support it. But advances in medicine in this area have shown very encouraging signs in terms of continued activity/mobility.
Frankly, I was extremely surprised to see him elevating so well tonight ... I would not have thought it possible, but it's clear he still has enough in the tank and enough success with his rehab to give an effective contribution on a limited basis.
I could be wrong, but I think he may surprise quite a few people with what he has left. Time will tell, but again, I don't think he's "done".
