both are up 3-0 and both have the game on Sunday. If they both win and sweep (which is probable), would anyone know when the 2nd round (at least the Heat v C's matchup) would start? TP's for valuable info! :P

Didn't find a schedule but here is what NBA.com says about it :

"If first-round series are completed in six games or less, the conference semifinals may move up to begin on either Saturday, April 30 or Sunday, May 1."

And Wojnaroswki says in his latest article "Boston needs to sweep the series on Sunday and give themselves a full week of rest before Game 1." so I guess it will either start on Saturday or on Sunday.

That would be huge for these guys!  (Though we'd also hear, "We almost just want to keep playing now that we're playing well again...")

There is always the rythm thing obviously but I think we would be better off with an almost complete week of rest. The 3 days of rest between games 2 and 3 really allowed us to blowout the Knicks like we did in my opinion. Fresher legs combined with killer instinct in an hostile building = the "real" Celtics!

The heat/ celtics series would start Tuesday May 3rd. That would be over a week's rest if we sweep the Knicks. That should be all the motivation we need. I think we deliver the knockout punch on Sunday.

Usually, it's on the same night as the first Game 7 of any other series.

I'll hope for the 6-7 day rest but I've been a fan of the C's too long...  I would not be surprised if they LAY AN EGG ON EASTER............

Agreed and I think they'd agree too.  They also especially need the time to practice together.  I think just the three days between #2 and #3 helped a lot.

Hardest game is the close out game. We have heard it time and time gain and I'm sure it's the truth. Let's hope they come out with the fire they had in Game 3.

It would probably be Sunday May 1st. Both the Celtics and Heat have game 7's scheduled (if necessary) on that date. Also, the venue at AAA is open and there are no events planned on that day. This is also a great day to start a series for ratings.

If Shaq comes back for Game 4(and yes, there is a possibility until he's officially ruled "out"), we can definitely sweep regardless of how "hot" we are in Game 4.

Celtics really need to sweep the Knicks and get those practices.

From Julian Benbow of the Globe:

Quote
Miami is also up, 3-0, in its series with Game 4 tomorrow in Philadelphia. If both the Celtics and Heat sweep, the earliest their second-round meeting could start would be next Sunday, giving both teams six days to rest.
