Poll on Front page Poll and it's Correlation to the TRADE

I find the poll on the front page about being ableto win or not being able to windepending upon Shaq's playing as well as the comments very interesting.

Over 1000 folk have voted on the front page poll as of this posting, so obviously there is much interest on this subject (and rightfully so) on this board.

I am very curious, and think some of you might be too, as to the correlation between voting "yes" or "no" on the front page poll and that same voter's opinion on the TRADE.

I know this is kind of bizarre, i.e. having a poll about a poll, but I think the results may show that this is (not intentionally, necessarily) another referendum on the TRADE.

Good idea... in my opinion, they can win it all even without Shaq. This year's KG is way better than last season's, and JO and Nenad can make up for Perk. What we are losing is Sheed, and I don't think Murphy will be a good replacement. But BBD was playing hurt through the Finals, so we can expect a Better Baby (not showing up yet, but he will). Delonte and Green are way better than Nate and Tony.

Yes, we can win it all without Shaq.

About the trade... we won't be able to judge it until the trade deadline of next february. Danny thinks big, and we should wait to see how the lockout/trade front go.

Go Celtics!!!

win this series vs the knicks, yes.   win the title, highly doubtful.  *IF* shaq were to be healthy for the playoffs, we absolutely could win it all, but i dont think he will be healthy or reliable for the postseason

I certainly think the Celtics can win it all without Shaq. Especially if the Western opponent doesn't have a healthy Bynum.

Shaq becomes more important to this team only if the Celtics play Orlando. Otherwise, there's no big opposing center that poses much of a threat.

Not that we haven't been through this before BUT..


The Lakers length is incredible.  The current players we have manning the inside with KG simply cannot get it done against them.

It's an uphill battle with Shaq...Mission Impossible without
