I see that miami literally has 9 straight free throws to get back in the game... are these legit calls? The flagrants and techs seem to indicate they are bogus... hate having to watch from play by play... still waiting to hear what happened to lebron. he apparently never left game and the part saying big z replaced him was taken away

If I remember correctly Superman always finishes the job... since when has LeBron?  Reggie Miller ur an idiot.
You know Reggie's been on LeBron wagon and has been kissing the messiahs behind for I don't know how long.
The guy is clearly talented and is a strong force to be reckon with, but the love and butt kissing that the guy gets is disgusting. That's the reason why I don't like LeBron they oversaturate the love of him and the big 3 and act like the guy was the best thing to hold a basketball. Let him breathe my goodness.

The flagrant on Boozer was a good call.

Boozer smacked LeBron in the face and pulled him backwards whilst LeBron was in mid-air on a drive to the rim.

I think someone from the league's office gave the referees an earful about LeBron's travel late in that overtime period in Game Four. That bucket that pretty much won the game for Miami.

They are making much more of an effort at trying to spot those violations tonight. Clearly someone has complained and made it a point of emphasis for the refs coming into tonight's game.

----------------------------------------

On a related note, I hate this type of reactionary officiating ... referees changing the way they make calls because someone from the league's office or one of the team's complained about it.

It's their reactionary ways that makes coaches + players + teams in general whine about referees to the media.

What's the solution then? The regular NBA rulebook doesn't apply to LeBron. If it did, he would have been called for more charges, travels and personal fouls.

Stars get the preferential treatment....so what is one supposed to do then if not speak out?

Would be nice to see this series go another game at least... there has only been one game 7. I also believe there was only 1 series that went six games, the LA NO first round (I cant remember if Orlando ATL went 5 or 6 without looking). Am I missing any others? That has to be a record low I would think...

orlando vs. atlanta, memphis vs. san antonio, dallas vs. portland, and chicago vs. atlanta all went for six games. but i agree i'm hoping for some more tooth & nail fighting. i feel like some of these series have been too obvious toward the end.

Thanks for clearing that up... I clearly have not been following the playoffs as closely this year as years past. Mainly cause I am in Australia and lost massive interest once the celtics were eliminated. I gave you both a tp. Lets hope this chicago game stays the same so we can add another series to that list. That chicago atl series was so bleh I had forgot it even happened....

Yeah no problem, just figured i'd list them all out for you. I had to go to the NBA website to look everything up because some of these series were kind of forgettable.

I think some type of feedback from players / teams is a good thing but I don't want to see it on a daily basis.

Make it a quarterly thing throughout every season with the final one just prior to the playoffs.

I just hate seeing refereeing decisions that are so different night to night ... and different because someone complained and the league decided to heed their complaints and then proceed to give instructions to their referees on what to do in the next game. I hate that. With a passion.

If that isn't manipulating referees calls, I don't what is.

Great game by Chicago.

They have played tough defense and beaten up Miami on the boards all night.

Struggled offensively but made the game ugly enough to inch it out.

Crowd chanted "You suck! You suck! You suck!" at Lebron; then he missed the free throw...perhaps we should've tried that.

I still think that Chicago will win tonight at least, but this is starting to feel like the game that OKC blew to Dallas... That Brewer 3 = KD's 3 that pushed the lead to 15, then team goes cold and the other team starts making crazy shots

Okay, might have spoken too soon. Nice 6-0 run by Miami.

Two minutes to play, five point game.
