Bradley, Wafer and Arroyo are probably going to sit.

I thought it was pretty ovious he was trying too hard but he showed some good things. Kind of reminded me of earlier in the season when he was working to get into the rotation and "over thinking" as Doc would put it. Than once he got set into the rotation I thought he relaxed and was playing pretty well. I can see him dressing for the games, especially if West is out, and I think he can contribute if given some consistant minutes.
I must admit, I felt kind of bad for the guy after the missed dunk and than knocking JO into a travel. I thought he was going to cry for sure.

I'm thinking Bradley, Murph as they kept calling him last night , and West as there is no way in Hell he's playing anytime soon. The poor fellow is made of glass.

I don't think Von Wafer should be a first choice rotation for this team in the playoffs but he is a nice 10th/11th man for the team to have. Glad to have him here.

A 2nd unit of JO, Baby, Green, West and Wafer, on paper, is impressive. On the court, not so much.

This is where injuries have really hurt the team. If these 5 could have played 30 games as a unit off the bench, for consistent minutes, they could have been really good. You figure West, Green and Baby all started on teams that had decent playoff runs. JO was an All-Star and looked healthy and active yesterday. And Wafer has a nice game.

I think Von Wafer and Pavlovic will be rotated depending on opponent.

When LA is up and they are concerned about Kobe Bryant, they'll take Pavlovic over Von Wafer ... just in case they need someone to give 3-5 minutes in case of foul trouble or whatever and don't want to get caught with Von Wafer trying to defend Kobe.

Against someone like the Knicks, I think Von Wafer will get the nod. His scoring and athleticism will be be valuable attributes in a small ball lineup.

Von Wafer is an offensive version of Tony Allen.

An offensive version of an injured TA maybe. I don't think his offensive game will ever be called elite.

True.  I just meant that he matches most great plays with equally boneheaded plays.

  Gotcha.

  Agree.

I was disgusted by that play.  He was yelling and showboating under the basket after a missed dunk that he thought he made and then turned to run up court looking at the crowd and hit a teammate and caused a turnover!

Train wreck.

We all have to give Wafer credit, he started his celtics career as a pouting, brooding offense first me first guy but has turned it around nicely.  I think we will need him, wafer has shown he can come in for brief minutes and help with defensive energy AND you have to guard him.
Delonte offers more as sg except size but if he's injured we need wafer to give ray some rest.  Its very important at the end of games ray & paul have their legs under them.

The C's may be forced to use him....but I hope not. Too much like TA in that for every postive he gives there will be two negatives that will take it away.

Wafer's got some talent, but I don't think I've seen a player have as poor of a two minute stretch of basketball since Shelden Williams.

totally agree - mistakes happen, but at least von showed fire, and some spark on offense - both are sorely missing lately

I'd like to see him on the playoff roster and fill time behind ray if west can't go or is backing up rondo.

And with Kevin, Baby, JO, Shaq, and Kristic (and Green in spots if needed), we have absolutely no need to include the depressing Troy Murphy on the roster.

I agree ; he is the most athletic guy on the team and the player you can really count on to be able to take it from teh top of the key to the hoop
