I'm going to put this squarely on Doc Rivers shoulders. He being The Head Coach needs to find a remedy quickly. Its not a new phenomenon. Celtics offense is prone to stalling for long periods at a time. I don't know if its the total dependency on Rajon Rondo. Whatever it is Doc Rivers has to come with answers.

We were 10th ranked offensive rating per 100 possessions back in 07-08 when we won it all.

This year we are 18th ranked team in offense per 100 possessions.

Last year's 50 win team was 15th ranked.

Believe it or not when KG missed nearly half the season we were 2nd ranked team in offense per 100 possessions.

Celtics offense stung most of last year. This year its been downright atrocious. I don't have the stats from past years in front of me, I'm positive Celtics PPG has taken a nosedive since 2008.

We need a big body to set some picks so Ray Allen stops being a nonfactor... thus opening stuff up for the rest of team

Sounds like a job for

First he must show the ability to play 6minutes without getting injured. Don't hold your breath

The offense was running beautifully up until a month or so ago when Rondo's form dipped.

They were a very strong offensive ball club at that point.

I feel like Jeff Green scores almost every time on the post.

I feel like Glen Davis bricks lots of jumpers, and gets winded on the post and ends up playing bad defense on the next possession.

Keep it simple Doc, like Red aurbach always said!  Just move the ball and let Rondo do whateva he wants :)

WRONG

The offense runs beautifully until Glen Davis enters the game.

The offense runs FLUIDLY when Rajon Rondo drives the ball, then kicks it to the open player. It sucks when he sits on the elbow, and waits for something to happen. Not that hard to understand.

There used to be a big center that used to play close to the basket.  So when KG shot jumpers there was someone there to rebound.   When Rondo drove there was someone to dish to.

Now we don't have that guy.   We have another "big" man also playing away from the basket.

No more easy put backs.

Just bad basketball.  We might as well play Delonte at center.

Also I don't think the switch extends to Shaq's health.  I'll believe it when I see it

Any surprise that this team is getting worse on offense as the Big 3 get older?

And yes, we're actually a little bit more potent generally with KG off the floor, but much worse defensively.

Yes, actually and this is why.

KG's knee is better.

Rondo should be better

We added Krstic who is supposedly so much better on offense than Perk. (I guess picks aren't an offensive skill).

We added Jeff Green who everyone thought was a decent player.

We added a pretty decent pg situation behind Rondo

Our 4th swing man has starting experience and a good shot. That's usually good.

Baby should be better

This. Rondo was doing that whole waiting at the top of the key thing yesterday. Inexcusable but to me it definately shows a lack of effort
