the difference between KG defending the pick & roll or helping from the weak side compared to Kristic trying to do the same is night and day - how can you play basketball your entire life and reach the level of the NBA and not understand defensive fundamentals taught in middle school ?
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

People will remember the shots made and the individual stats that the big guns were putting up. But KG's biggest contribution tonight doesn't even show up in the box score, unless you just look at what he stopped the opponent from doing.

Similar situation last night from Rondo. Crawford was catching fire, scoring 12 points in a row for the Hawks, shooting on 5 straight possessions. They put Rondo on him, Crawford went 0-2 for the rest of the half and the Celts ended the half on a 14-3 run.
