Don't tick off The Truth!

I remember a few years ago (against Philly I think) the Celtics were down and Pierce got hit in the head and then went off and won the game.

I really thought that Ray was going to start knocking down shots after he got bloodied, but I guess Pierce took care of it for him. 8)

Just shows us how some New York fans can be so classless.

I love when Pierce gets mad, his clutch side truly comes out.

That's how you know a player is good.  The other teams hate them.  (unless you have another good reason like with Kobe. ;D)

I was more excited last night then I have been since the first game against Miami.

Pierce reminded me why he is my favorite Celtic of all time.

It's the same passion that had him doing airplane laps around MSG earlier this season after his gamewinner, and in that instance people felt he was acting "classless" etc.  I'm with you folks, we're blessed to have a captain with the stones to grab ahold of the big moment, I love the guy through & through.

I could be wrong but the only chant I heard was Boston Sux, which I've heard Boston fans chant about NY teams forever. Yankees sux, Knicks sux, Jets sux, etc. I'm a diehard Celtics fan, but lets not delude ourselves into thinking Boston fans are any better.

Same here! Pierce at his finest in the fourth quarter. When the fans started chanting, I told my dad "Watch, Pierce gets ticked and takes over the fourth." He's predictably and unstoppably clutch when the game is on the line.

I think the fact that Pierce got so many quick fouls actually worked out in our favor...

He didn't seem too concerned when he headed over to the bench. But I think he started to stew a bit watching Carmelo and Amare prance around. And then when the chants started? Dude was p---ed.

How does he respond? By completely taking over the fourth quarter like a boss.

This is why Pierce has been and always will be my favorite Celtic of the modern era
