Cant believe some people on here thought Rondo was the best player on this team, hes 4th best at most, and if Jeff Green plays to his potential hes better then Rondo also.

When he is truly playing his game he is the best player on the team. The offense is a shell without him setting everyone up. I think he's tired and dealing with some kind of injury.

No he isnt. When hes playing "his" game he still is unable to hit a wide open jumpshot.
This is obviously not true.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

1.  None of the starters played more than 35 minutes, which makes this a weird time for Doc to suddenly decide that having home court advantage doesn't matter.

2.  This team won't make it out of the 2nd round is Rondo continues to suck like this.

3.  Krstic needs to play more than 19 minutes against a team like the Nets.  KG and Baby are great defensive players, but over the course of a game they're both going to be physically overmatched by big centers.  It doesn't even matter if his defense is poor, he simply has to absorb the minutes.

Who cares? He doesn't have to hit a wide on jumpshot to be effective. That's not what's he asked to do anyways. His biggest problem tonight wasn't all the missed shots it was being invisible most offensive possessions.

His problem isn't that he can't make jump shots. His problem is that, for all his quickness and handle, he does not have the ability to penetrate into the lane, thus making him a complete non-factor on the offensive end

If jumpshooting was all that mattered in the NBA game, JJ Redick would be a superstar.

Megatron just has an irrational hatred of Rondo. I don't know the reason, I don't really care either. It's his perogative.

Back-to-back is tough no matter what. The starters had their minutes shaved for ONE game, and their minutes weren't even shaved all that much. The sky is falling once again.

Nobody cares if he's making jumpshots, we care about his mentalty and body langugage and effort on both ends. We know that he is capable of producing trpl-dbl numbers and time he want's to.
What bothers me is his careless cocky look he has ever since Perk shiped out. Get over it

Almost every player on this team has shot way above their career avgs. this year. There was bound to be a correction.

Once Delonte comes back we should see a general uptick in the flow of the offense. Maybe making Rondo watch would so him some good (hope he is not injured).

Once Shaq/JO come back Murphy will be relegated to the bench.

The offense is terrible because Rondo is playing terrible.  He's not driving or setting people up. He's just dribbling out the shot clock and bricking shots.  If he doesn't straighten up, Arroyo needs to start.

That's a terrible idea.

The starting unit has clearly not recovered from the Perk trade. and the only chance we have of getting the starting unit right is if/when Shaq returns.

We need a defensive stopper in the middle. That has always been how the Cs functioned best. This idea of spreading the floor with a scoring/shooting center was an experiment that needed to be left in the lab.

Rondo has been awful and not the same since the Perk trade, doubt many agree but it's pretty clear.

Yeah seriously. I only hear this argument when it comes to Rondo too. I don't see how you could possibly tell the difference...he makes the same face all the time and rarely shows emotion.

You are not the only one. Our starting unit clearly did not like the trade. And they won't be even close to right until Shaq makes an appearance.

Wow looking at some of the posts in this thread you would think the season is over and we're terrible lol i could care less about chicago or miami right now they're still unproven and I know what this team is capable of. We can still play defense (ex yesterday vs bucks)the nets just went ham from 3 I'm not gonna lose sleep over this game
