I couldn't watch the game tonight... How did Rondo look?  His stat line looks pretty bad by his standards, and I was just wondering if it was a bad game or if his impact went beyond the box score.

He did seem active, but missed a few seemingly easy ones...I just think he needs more rest.

Cs held them to 56pts ALL TIME LOW for the Celtics!! This game was over before it started! Everyone contributed... WOOT, Murphy got going, hope it lasts!!! Let's go!!!

Game tomorrow @NJN: 7EST/10PST/12GMT (unless the time change messed it up)
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

He pretty much locked down his opponents on defense. On offense he didn't look sharp, but it wasn't needed. His low number of assists is partly due to the plays, the C's have been using for a few games, giving the ball to Pierce a lot of the time.

Another poor performance from Rondo. That kid's head just isn't in it.

Have a slim chance of winning this one with Bogut playing, hes going to dominate us on the boards and inside.

C's are obviously in tank mode right now waiting for the injured to return, I dont expect to win this one with the Bucks fighting for a playoff spot.
It's time to fix your crystal ball.

Another poor performance from Rondo. That kid's head just isn't in it.

Weren't you the one who said that stats don't show everything?

He missed a few "bunnies" but overall he was very active on defense, dictated the pace pretty well, and took care of the ball. Far from a poor performance imo.

His stats were definitely poor, but I'm not judging his performance on stats. I thought he played a poor game, regardless. He was a little better on defense (still not very good), and was a bad floor general again. He passed up a couple open layups, and made an awful unforced passing turnover. He played better than he had the past couple of games, but he's still playing far from good ball.

Good night for the home club. Good long runs of defensive intensity, great job on the glass, ball movement was outstanding. Krstic, absolutely outstanding again on both ends of the floor.

Too many turnovers. Arroyo is going to be the best PG we've had off the bench in the Rondo era, capable of long stretches on the floor when #9 isn't on, which he was not at times tonight.

Great opportunity to get the new guys some serious floor time.

Overall, a really good night for the Celtics.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

What was wrong with his defense?

In my opinion, Rondo did not match the other starters defensive intensity. Rondo also didn't really contest a lot of shots out there. Most of the night, he helped too much, and conceded open jump shots. The Bucks missed a lot, and Rondo's man missed a lot, but I thought it had little to do with Rondo's defense. I thought he was more active than he had been in the past couple games, though. I've just been unimpressed with his effort level for a long time now.
