Doc is a puzzling man. He does a lot doublespeak so to speak. For instance he 'hates small front-line' but past few games that's all he's been doing. Having Green play PF is luxury. Well Doc has been abusing that luxury. Celtics strive most with size upfront. I would love to see Green a lot more at the 3 (mismatch) slide Pierce to the 2 (mismatch).

Necessity.  Troy Murphy is the only other "healthy" big off the bench right now.

Signs are that Baby will be back for tomorrow night.  Hopefully, Shaq will be close behind him.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I don't have the answer to that question, but I don't see him as a part of our rotation when/if our team gets healthy.

I understand Doc's reluctance to play Murphy. On the other end, if you expect him to improve he has to play to get better and he is currently our only healthy big off the bench so it's mind-boggling to me that Doc didn't want to play him more than 5 minutes last night...

Playoffs is a month away. I'm talking about now. You have a healthy veteran big body playing a meager 4 minutes past two games. Doc burying Murphy already without knowing what he can brings. At least try to get him in playing shape.

Doesn't Doc see him in practice?

Ugh, I feel like we're talking about Bill Walker and JR Giddens all over again. Maybe people will start realizing that Doc doesn't just sit players just cause he feels like it or just because he doesn't like playing rookies. I mean, even Pavlovic is getting time, same for Arroyo.

People on this blog are saying Murphy looks lost, but apparently something is wrong with Doc for feeling the same way? Come on.

His first three games as a Celtic, Murphy played about 14 minutes per.  Doc threw him in but he didn't look good.  Now, he'd rather see if he can use the injuries to work on getting Green some minutes at the 4 so he can be more versatile. Also, the Sixers use a guy who's really a three in Thaddeus Young as their backup power forward.  So, it makes sense to use Green against him. I've got no problem with that.

Does anyone think 15 minutes of Troy Murphy would have won the Clippers or Sixers game for us?
