Referees for tonight:

Dick Bavetta, Kevin Fehr, John Goble

Does anyone know what kind of game will be called tonight based on these guys?

FLCeltsFan does a good job with that...may have included it in the game thread already.

Bavetta is so old it's ridiculous he still has a job.

Makes "anticipation calls" without contact.

A good resource for referee analysis is www.covers.com, when you get to their main page Click "NBA Main", then the games are on the right side of the page, click "matchup", then at bthe top of the next page click "today's refs". They post them by about 9:30 AM game days.

I still don't get why C's fans hate Bavetta.  Generally he lets teams play, which favors the C's, and he has a good relationship with the C's players and Doc, where they generally are able to work with him better than most of the other refs in the league.  

edit: OK, looking at the stats, it looks like I am wrong about him letting teams play...but I rarely feel like he dominates a game like some of the other veteran refs do.

Dicky B. will be dead before he retires. Or maybe he already is and they just give him the Frankenstein treatment before every game?

There are also rumors that he died 3 years ago and his contract with the devil allows him to continue to referee games.
