I honestly can't root for either of them in this game. I am surprised by the utter collapse of the heat and also surprised at how well the Lakers are playing.

Why is that?

This Heat team has done nothing but lose to Boston.

vs.

The Lakers.

Exactly...I'll be on the Heat bandwagon for one night and one night only.

Yeah, as much as I don't like the Heat and agree with SVG that if you can't stand the scrutiny don't have your championship celebration before you even win a game,  I can never cheer for the Lakers.

Lakers have to lose bottom line. Plus we don't want Miami going 4th seed on us.

I don't care who wins or loses.  We win either way as I see it.  If the HEAT win it breaks the Laker's post all star game momentum which has been great.   If the Lakers win its more fuel and pressure on the HEAT.  Both Wade and James said they are looking forward to playing LA.   This could be indicative that they don't get up for the other games but will for this one.   I think everyone plays harder when LA or Boston is in town, you can probably add the HEAT to that list as well.

I hope LeBron and Kobe get into a fistfight that breaks into the crowd and that they both get suspended for the rest of the year.

Yeah right. Like David Stern would ever suspend one of the Nike puppets....

Exactly.
I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm rooting for the Heat, but right now they're the lesser of two evils.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

All I know is if some terrorists show up, I'll be rooting for them.

Let it be known to everyone, mark this down right now.

If the game is close tonight. I bet 100% without a doubt bank on it...that the Heat will get a bail out call from the refs that will put them in position to win this game.

I can't think of a team I wouldn't root for if they were playing the messiah's team....Regardless of the circumstances.

I submit that the likely outcome is both streaks continuing for both teams.

LeBron's post-game interview after losing to the Blazers seemed resigned to losing...
