I think it's likely Boston will look to extend Green, but they may give him an offer low enough that he won't accept it (Danny's M.O.). But we didn't trade for him as a rental; Danny is looking for an heir apparent at the wing, and part of our future core with Rondo.
I don't know what I think of Green on the Celtics at this point; he's clearly not comfortable yet and hasn't shown a whole lot. But from what I've seen, he has the ability to be a much more complete and efficient player than I saw in OKC. Jeff Green will never be Paul Pierce but their builds and games are similar enough that I could see Green learning a lot from Pierce.
