Oden is obviously not playing this year and who knows when or if he will play again and be effective, but it seems likely that Portland is going to move on this off season.  Do you think anyone would trade for him this season to get restricted free agent rights on him in the off season?  And if so, what do you think his value is?  I mean would JO, Bradley, a first, and 3M be enough.  If so, I would absolutely make that trade as I think it is a gamble worth taking (and I don't think JO is going to do much of anything for us this year anyway).

Interesting, although that doesn't mean they intend to keep him, just don't want to lose matching rights in case he doesn't get much in the way of interest.

Portland are going to keep Oden for at least another year.

They have invested too much time and too much money to discard him so readily ... especially since he's proven himself to be a very effective player when on the court.

Read this too... Plus, why trade him now when his value is probably near zero. Once he gets on the court then teams will know if he worth it to trade for or not.

You mean once he gets on the court, you have exactly 2 weeks to move, before he gets hurt again.

I admit I thought he was a can't miss pick.  Boy, was I wrong.  I would not touch him with a ten foot pole.  Maybe he is as old as he looks....

Today I read that Golden State is interested in Oden, as well as Yao Ming.
