Here's a WORST case scenario for next year
shaq retires, jermaine retires
perk moves to another team

I believe shaq WILL retire, I hope Perk is signed and jermaine who knows? I hope he can help us this year if not next year he would be the backup to perk and if healthy would be a very good backup but health

As of this point in his career bradley hasn't shown as much as the usc kid  :-[
granted he has man on pro defense already but his offensive handle looks poor (so far).  Next year if he improves like any 2nd year guy would...could he take minutes from wafer, delonte or nate?

Bradley's upside is limited by the fact he's a pure SG in a PG body - there isnt' an ounce of PG play in him - but he's still a much better prospect than Erden, who hasn't showed noticeable progress in his game for 5 years.

I want to know something, how did Bradley get picked in the first round? He looks like he should still be in college ball, he is honestly one of the worst players I have seen. EVER.

Shaq isnt retiring if we win the title this year, he knows he can sit out more then half the season, come back during the playoffs and pass Kobe and Duncan for rings if we win again next year.

Hes been preaching the exact time hes retiring which is at the end of the 2011 season for some time now. Doubt he will go earlier specially seeing how easy this season has been for him so far as far as him being able to sit out so many games.

3rd option: Neither

I'd offer Nate, Quisy, Von, and Gody first before I include Avery or Semih in a trade.

I think Nate should be traded if it's between the three of them. Avery Bradley is a special player. Semih Erden can dunk...

Neither one of them really matter much at this point. Neither does Harangody. If I could get any value for any of them, I'd not blink twice about moving them.

I think it's important to remember that this isn't a Joe Johnson for Rodney Rogers situation.  Those are the types of trades that kill a franchise.  Here, we'd be trading a young guy who projects as a role player (rather than a potential star like Johnson) for a legit chance at a championship (rather than no realistic shot, like with the Johnson trade).

I have no idea what to expect from Bradley.  I like his potential, but have to defer to Danny.  If he thinks he's worth moving, then I'd do it.  It's the same thing with Semih.  I really like Erden, but I'd say his ceiling is a good backup center.  If we can trade him for a better shot at a championship, we've got to do it.

I would explore trades for guys like Parker and Butler based around second rounders and cash (along with Marquis' contract), but I wouldn't hesitate all that much if I had to trade one of the young guys for a decent backup.

I would rather trade Erden following the "buy low, sell high" motto.

Leaving aside the other particulars, would you trade Erden for Courtney Lee?
