Anyone get the point?  8 Melos?   Are they planing on cloning him during the season?  Or did they really think there are that many Melo's based on that commercial?

if you just had 1 slot machine, you would have to hit the button a lot of times to figure the true odds.  By having 8, it isn't that difficult to see what they think the odds are for each team.

Why not just have the teams and show the %?

Did they just reuse the free agent slot machine from last year? Really stupid design. That is the only explanation I can think of. Instead of Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Amare, Boozer, etc, it is now all Melo.

I expect that they though that a single result wouldn't be interesting enough. Didn't they realize that there would be ties?

So the different breakdown of Melos reflects variations in probabilities that were pretty much made up by ESPN staff. 

Not that any of these slot machine things are ever any use, but this is by far the dumbest and worst-presented one I've seen.
