Den trades Melo and Billups

receives Fields, Felton, Curry (waived), Daniels (waived), Gallinari and a 1st from Minn

NY trades Fields, Curry, Felton, Gallinari, Randolph and Williams

Minn trades Brewer and 1st

Its got a good framework...Im assuming this is Shawne Williams. I like the idea of Brewer and Williams however Brewer isnt a proven player in the league and Williams is a young potential headcase. I dont think giving up just Daniels and Bradley is able to get us Brewer let alone Williams as well.

And then this is a lot to give up for the Knicks to get Melo. Fields, Gallo, Felton, and Randolph plus the expiring of Curry? Thats the Knicks entire core of role players, if Im the Knicks I pass and wait for my chances in the summertime.

Both of them are cap filler.  But neither are going to be likely wanted by Denver when they are already adding players at those position.
