I know most have been disappointed with JO; mainly due to his health.  But I think he's been a tremendous asset on the defensive end when he has played.  And while he wouldn't be considered a key contributor on this team he certainly has a lot to offer and makes this team very strong overall; think of having JO as your 3rd center if everyone is healthy, not bad.

Now if he has surgery, I think it pretty much opens for the door for a Rasheed return.

If he doesn't have surgery, we're going to have a guy that's in and out of the lineup and we can't really depend on him or have a set rotation.  Which means he'll probably go way down in the pecking order once Perk returns.  In which case he becomes an end of the bench guy, maybe again opening the door for Rasheed?

I agree.  A hobbled JO as the 3rd string center is better than playing Semi and Harangody with the kind of prime minutes they have been getting lately.

For his health, he's probably better off getting the surgery and coming back next season (if there is a season), but for this season we need JO's defense, height and 6 fouls.  Jermaine, please tough it out!

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Ainges "effort" comment in his press conference. He seemed to imply there was a lack of it from Jermaine. Anyone else notice that? To me his fat face tells the whole story but to each his own I guess.
