Bosh whined about the play in which he hurt his ankle. You can watch the play a few seconds into the highlights on ESPN.

From another article on ESPN:
Quote
"C'mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen," Bosh said.

"You've got to watch people's legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job."

Bosh was immediately frustrated with Asik, who has worked his way into coach Tom Thibodeau's lineup mostly through hustle and fighting for loose balls. Before he left the floor, Bosh shook hands with Asik but still was salty about the play after the game.

"We all want to be healthy and that is very important," said Bosh, who had 11 of his 17 points in the third quarter before the injury. "If it is by somebody's leg, don't dive for the ball, it's too close."
Watching the play, what the heck is Bosh whining about? Asik is looking at the ball away from Bosh and dives for it as it goes past him. I guess Bosh is of the opinion diving for a loose ball is an unnecessary basketball play. After all people can get hurt if you try to grab the ball!

Chris Mogwai Bosh....he comes with his own set of rules. Tap him and he will take the rest of the game off.

what an amazing statement... i have had a few drinks and its 2 in the morning so i had to read it a couple times to make sure it was what it is..... This is why we will win in may... KG's attitude compared to Bosh.. Speaks volumes about the two players!

Asik was going after a loose ball. I don't understand why Bosh is making such a big deal out of it. It's not like Asik intentionally dove towards Bosh's foot with the intention of hurting him. Yeah, every NBA player wants to play and provide for their families and "have a job". It's plays like that which allows Asik to keep his. It's called hustle and heart.

Its as if the Heat just want to keep being hated. What a dumb statement. The guy makes a hard nosed play going for a loose ball and your not supposed to try and go for it cause the ball is near Bosh's leg? That makes no sense. What a baby.

"You've got to watch people's legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job."

-someone should explain to Chris that his contract is guaranteed and a sprained ankle won't cause his family to go hungry.

"If it is by somebody's leg, don't dive for the ball, it's too close."

-yep, there's Chris Bosh for you.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I've always been under the impression that this guy was a softcock but still respected his game.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what asik did there and bosh is a joker. He thinks he is mightier than thow and he deserves special treatment or something it's completely pathetic.
This guy is a poor/soft mans Kevin Garnett and that's 100% the truth.
