Wow. That was an incredible miracle 3 by Ariza.

No matter the outcome of this game im proud of our team, we just didnt have enough bodies to get it done tonight.

One thing I disagree with -- play Marquis more and this might be a win.

Ugggh, that might be it. Just terrible 3-pt line defense right now..

I don't know man...Pierce was right on Ariza's grill for that shot.  That possession was actually superb defense.  Not much you can do there.

I will say though, this game shows alot about the Hornets and how they've been struggling since that insane hot start.  No Rondo, no KG, no Delonte, no Perk and yet this game is a dog fight.

It's hard to blame a loss on any one player, but BBD deserves a lot of it for this one.  He's sucked on both ends.

LOL @ BIG BABY!

Nobody should be upset about this loss, we are missing an incredible amount of players right now, we are going to lose alot of games until those players come back, just relax.

  • GOT IT!!!
Nate should have been the one that went to the bench with four minutes left. The ball doesn't move when he's on the floor.

  • Thank you Eddie!
BBD just got visited by Antoine Walker's ghost... that's the best explanation I got for why he took that 3.

Yeah I'm not sure if he deserves full blame.  Nate has been pretty bad again today as well.  But Davis has had a pretty poor game.

Why would Doc take out JO instead of BBD?  I mean, I know there are only 21 seconds left, but if one guy is likely to do something stupid here, it's Baby.  He's a good player, but he's prone to mental slumps when he's down on himself.

They should get the ball to Paul then we'll have a last chance at a Ray or Paul 3..

jermaine has definitely picked up his game on the defensive end today.

His slow/kinda lazy rotations are defense are a little annoying.  ive seen him lose his man, or forget to switch back numerous times now.  dont know if anyone else has noticed.  maybe that stuff will go away once he gets more worked into the lineup.
Jermaine needs the second big man on the court to be very active off the ball in helping out on his man + on the backboards while he goes up for blocks.

Without that help, his defense gets exposed just as often as it helps ... which is pretty much what happened in Toronto with Bosh and Bargnani. For every shot altered or blocked shot Jermaine got, he gave up a layup off a pass or an offensive rebound and put-back.

In Miami, Udonis Haslem gave him that coverage and it worked well.

Here in Boston, Garnett will definitely be able to supply it. As could Kendrick Perkins. I think BBD should be able to do a solid job too.

Shaq? Not so much, at least not regularly. He doesn't move quickly enough to cover that ground. He'd need to be matched up against someone who plays very close to the rim and/or isn't much of an offensive threat.
