How about the refs reaction to his fine for his comments, last night fouled out.
in a bizarro universe, kobe gets t'd up and suddenly calls don't go his way and more techs last night
Even Kobe won't get away with his reactions due to the new rules. And you see that Kobe frusteration and team blaming boiling over. It'll be interesting to see how much longer the media can spin it into Kobe trying to motivate his team, especially considering he is playing like absolute garbage too.
While Kobe is still an offensive force he does need to take a backseat to Gasol when he isn't playing well, good for us his ego tends to get in the way
It's like he doesn't realize his own team's greatest strengths. You didn't win the title last year Kobe, Gasol and your interior players did. Giving him the Finals MVP was a joke, just like giving him the MVP in 08 over KG was, and it probably went to his head.
He isn't the player he used to be and yes, hopefully he keeps not realizing that and trying to put everything on his back because they will fail in the playoffs.
It's funny, because I said the exact same thing last year, when he looked awful for stretches.
Then the Phoenix series game, and cue Game 6, where Kobe went into "
Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. HOW DID HE DO THAT" mode and made 18 fters, off one ft, with a hand in his face, his shoot untied, and his eyes closed.
Much fun as it is to watch the Lakers lose, I will not count them out until I actually see them lose a playoff series.
LA and Boston are connected in some weird, other worldly type energy force, where, no matter the odds, or how they look coming into the playoffs; they just always seem to get the job done.
