Not a big fan of what was said.  Obviously this is going to get pinned on the Orlando motivation board.

It can get pinned up if they want but that won't make Dwight have post moves or the Magic be able to beat us in a series.  I don't really like that he said it too much but I like the fire and believe everything he said is correct.

I gotta laugh because they billed Dwight as some new and improved offensive post player who can even shoot face up jumpers in the pre-game and he showed he is no better when facing good defense.  Maybe against terrible defense he can score, congrats Dwight.  I'll say the calls took him out of the game some, but he deserved some of the fouls for sure and we've proven great at making him get at foul trouble since last year.  So color me very unimpressed with Dwight.  I like that Baby takes his matchup with him personally.  Shaq does and Perk does as well and that's only going to help us.

Especially after getting knocked out haha.

But yeah I see what you're saying.  Let's just hope this doesn't backfire in some way.

How about posting what he said?

All he really said was that DH has the same moves from 2004... that's like saying Shaq is huge (it's obvious... that's why they tried to get him some help from a great). If this motivates DH to show "more", then I wonder what has held him back all this time... you don't just come up w/ moves out of the blue b/c someone talks about you. Only thing I see DH doing is trying to pop BBD with a good "accidental" hit. (any1 on any given day can have an explosive game, if that happens, it wont mean much to me)
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Howard is a dirty, then press talk of Pierce and Garnett they do theater.
I do not like Howard, just muscle but little talent.

All this talk about bulletin board comments, etc. is nonsense. Never has and never will have any impact on the outcome of a game.

I dunno about everyone else, but I'm not one bit worried about the Magic. They only beat teams when Dwight dominates and teams need to double team him every possession. Then their shooters get open looks and they win that way.

Perk can guard dwight by himself. Baby can guard dwight by himself. Shaq can guard dwight by himself, JO can kind of guard dwight (haha). We just have too many bodies and two many fouls for him to win a series against us.

Not worried even in the least. The only two teams that I'm concerned with are the Heat and LA and I think we can handle both of them fine if we're healthy. Too big for Miami, and with Perk back, Shaq and JO we match up much better with LAL than game seven last year.

I see nothing wrong with BBD saying that. And I admire him for being blunt about it after DH gave him a concussion that could have caused serious brain damage. The idiot is a walking elbow and has no bodily control. He elbows his way forward/no finesse. I am not going to say that he does it on purpose, which would be much worse. Howard just doesn't seem to be able to finesse his hugely muscular arms into correct position when playing basketball. He's hurt a lot of players and that's where the refs need to come in and do their thing and prevent permanent injury from a player who refuses to or can't get control of his elbows.

Bass wont be dropping 20 on us in the playoffs and we will close games out better in the playoffs.  That comeback in the final 3 minutes was kind of lucky for them I think.

Playoff games, I agree.

But regular season games - comments can make a difference if a team would have lacked focus otherwise. 82 games is a long time. Effort can be inconsistent.

Howard has talent.  He has great timing on defense and athletic talent galore.   But he isn't a skill player there is a difference.   The league loves athletes and there are plenty of them who can't shoot.
