The way Celtics Evacuated the court was telling. Survived 5v8 game.

Steak is alive.

Philly is a well coached team but they aren't a very good offensive team. They have guys that can attack the basket which can give the C's problems but none of those guys are good shooters.

I am in absolute disbelief that the referees didn't pull a foul out of that KG block. Not saying it was a foul of course, just after everything they'd called... I believe that would've triggered a monumental Tommy eruption! :o

Grueling, hard-fought victory. That's what we like to see (well sorta ;))

Now for the Orlando Tragic this Saturday!

Tommy was ready to explode tonight, it was making me nervous!

I think that game was crooked. We all of a sudden started getting calls again (close down the ft gap, perhaps?) when the game was tied up with 2 minutes left and the Philly cover (9.5 pts) was in the bag.

Well, I think the C's did start to get calls at the end.  However, if anything, it was makeup for not getting them earlier.  I mean Iguodala probably should've gotten something there; however, there were a half dozen other calls earlier that the C's should've had that would've made it a double digit lead and that play inconsequential.

I think you got something. Its the NBA i wouldn't put anything past them. Strange how they kept Philly in the game most of the game. But the final 2minutes Phily couldn't buy a call.

KG's talking about the refs. Wouldn't be surprised if a fine comes his way.

Nothing too serious. He said they were getting frustrated with the calls Philly was getting. Said the C's were attacking and not getting the same calls.

If the C's had lost he probably would have went off.

The game was broadcast on ESPN today here in Australia, very much enjoy listening to the call by Mike and Tommy. Love being able to hear a guy who's pulling just as hard for the team as we are, venting plenty of frustration in the process!

9/10 it seems he's absolutely spot on, without going the over the top... much ;)

Watching the Philly broadcast, it was kind of funny how impressed the Philly local broadcasters were with the Sixers' effort.  And while they should be applauded for not rolling over for the C's, let's also face the fact that this is a team without Rondo, O'Neal, Perk, and D-West who didn't come into this game all that seriously and missed a ton of wide open shots.

True, the talent gap between the Celts and Sixers is wide.  However, I will say that particularly late in the first half, the effort from the Sixers was phenomenal.  They were hustling all over the court, especially on D.
