Sheldon starts for denver, you think he is a scrub.....what does George Karl see that you don't..?
You start a Sheldon debate at end of every game thread...and I don't know why. You talk about our rebounding being horrible when you know Doc likes our guys to get back on defense.
As for Sheldon starting for the Nuggets...like GreenFaith pointed out..he starts because KMart is injured...if you remember, he also started for us when BBD was injured...and then he went back to the bench...where he belongs..look at their stats this year...I can't see how he is better than BBD.
Shelden Williams:PPG 5.2, RPG 6.10, APG 0.4, FG% 46.3, FT% 75.9, EFF + 9.27
BBDPPG 11.9, RPG 5.70, APG 1.2, FG% 49.6, FT% 77, EFF + 13.48
Guava said it well in the other Sheldon thread, you were the OP ofcourse, so I'm quoting him again:
His coach felt his numbers were an illusion. He got some numbers, but Doc didn't felt he was actually helping the team.
Denver is all about numbers. Look at Melo. Dude gets play of the week for scoring once on 3 possessions at the end of a game.
You also completely miss the boat on "it is a terrible sight to see the celts put up a shot, then everyone turn to go play D..no rebounds, no championship." Uh, hello? We have a championship doing that. We were one quarter away from a championship doing that. In other words, you are wrong. Our getting back on defense works.
You are speculating against a proven record of success.
I don't think you will ever move on...and that's fine...you like the guy..but sometimes it feels like you love that guy more than Candace Parker...and reading "Sheldon was this..and Sheldon was that" kind of posts at the end of almost every game thread gets a bit annoying.
