First, there was the sore left hamstring. Then came the left knee injury. Don't forget the plantar fasciitis in both feet.

Now, you can add a sprained left ankle to the growing list of injuries for Rajon Rondo.

rest him until the Christmas game vs orlando. Nate is more than capable to run with the starters the next few games

Looks as if wafer and bradley are about to get some court time.  I would prefer rondo being healthy, but this may help the development of bradley.. (yes, I am trying to find a silver lining in this.)

Who would have thought the celtics would have this win-loss record while missing shaq, OJ, perk, and delonte? and now rondo.

Ainge really did add a lot of depth to this team during the off season and it will be paying off during the next month or so.

I really am looking forward to watching this team in February and march. Perk and delonte will be back and rounding into shape and rested by their time off. Shaq and (I hope) OJ will be playing, Bradley and wafer will be improved and able to handle limited minutes and rest rondo and Nate.

This will be a great team come the playlets.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Rondo need to rest the hamstring, the feet, and now the ankle.Maybe there are a few other problems we aren't aware of.Anyhow,he could use the time off to heal up for the New Year.I know its hard for Doc to keep Rondo down from some of things Doc has said in the past but he is the boss(coach).

That was a pretty nasty ankle turn.  Honestly I was suprised Doc left him in the game late with him hobbling around.  It clearly limited him on both ends of the floor, and I think that second to last possesion where he made a bad pass to Ray in the corner, I'm sure it was impacted by his injury because you need power and balance to make that long pass.
But the main thing is leaving him out there can only do one thing and that is make the injury worse.

Rondo is a pure fighter on the court but if you look though the game from yesterday its quite clear though the first 3 quarters that the super sonic Rondo speed, isnt there!

He actualy played the game as a mirror image of Jason Kidd right now and that has to worry people, we didnt have any easy baskets in the first quarter because there were no Rondo penetration at all.

I would advocate keeping rondo as a starter to continue keeping him happy but limiting his minutes heavily in favor of Nate, not only for him self but for the team aswell.. get the man healthy, we aint even close to being the same team offensively when he isnt close to a 100%

Rondo clearly just needs some mid to hi top shoes. That will solve 90% of his ankle problems and prevent future ones.

Rondo will tape the hell out of it and play.
Let's hope not considering he needs to get healthy.

It looked like a low ankle sprain on replay.

High ankle sprains take longer to heal.
