I agree. Lebron James is not worth a $7 beer.

Everyone seems to be missing the main and most tragic point here... ALL THAT BEER IS GOING TO WASTE!!!

While I agree throwing things at people is stupid and immature, I think you are being a little harsh on the fans here. You can't tell me that a Laker fan at a Celtics game wouldn't be treated the same way. People are stupid everywhere you go, not just Cleveland. Actually, if a player of Lebron's stature played for the Celts, and were to leave the same way Lebron did, the first trip back to the Garden probably would have been a lot worse than what we just witnessed (no pun intended) in the video.

Most immature fans in the NBA... most definitely. Cleveland makes me like Lebron. Seriously treating the Miami fans like that, GET OVER IT. Leave delonte and scottie alone. Honestly, for this display of immaturity all cleveland deserves is a first class ticket to the lottery probably for a long time because I cant see any big time player wanting to play for that city. Just shameful.

All-the-more reason to watch the C's when they play in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and OK City...Where the fans are loud, passionate (especially OK City) but civil...Tickets are cheaper, parking easier.  In none of those places does one deal with idiots....Or paying more to park than you do for your ticket.

TP for managing not to use the word "messiah".  ;)

Interesting vid; I'm not sure where all the shock about the fans' behavior is coming from.  That kind of stuff is pretty standard in the upper levels of every major sporting event I've ever been to, except the NCAA Tourney (too much fan diversity).  A few doughy drunken jackasses taunting a larger group of doughy drunken jackasses and becoming the recipients of jackass behavior.  Circle of life.

I guess I was being harsh but I really think that there is a point at which all of this should stop. If a fan cannot support their team no matter the city, while being safe... I just don't know. I would hope that a Laker fan wouldn't be treated in any way to physically harm them... Talking is fine but once things are thrown the situation becomes a little ridiculous.

I am assuming some of you are just as disappointed with LeBron going to Miami as I was. So you can imagine how crazy it was when he returned to Cleveland! But I made a short video of that day & in game documenting the experience! Got pretty much everything you couldnt see/hear on TV! All the profane chants, signs and Heat fans getting covered in beer! Note, I was not involved in any of the throwing stuff at fans... would not do that! Let me know what you think! Appreciate all good/bad feedback!

Cavaliers fans are just that lame.

The night of Cleveland's season-opener against the Celtics I was being harassed by Cavs fans to the point where I had to leave at halftime (essentially 'leaving' the Boston Celtics in the city of 'C-leave-land' just so I could return home safely) and I got caught speeding 20 miles away from my house after booking it for over 200 miles. My car was impounded and I had to post $300 dollars bail to get out of the county jail that night.

I have to go to court on Thursday to dispute whether or not my license was suspended that night, and after that incident some cop tried to give me a ticket in Cincinnati after I got into a car wreck and totaled my whip. Thankfully, I didn't get injured in that wreck nor did I hit any other drivers or damage any public/private property so I'm just waiting to see how much that original 'ticket' cost once I get out of court two days from now.

Also gotta love the homophobic slurs during the middle of the video, way to be classy Cleveland.

LOL...It's hard not to use the term when he talks about "continuing his greatness"....Not to mention Stern's obvious directive to his officials to protect him like an NFL quarterback.

The term fits.

I haven't experienced your jackasses in an NBA arena.  Even in the nosebleed seats.  The Garden is loud the times I've been there.  But my problem with it is getting there in the first place.  Paying a ridiculous amount to park 30-40 feet below sea level (not particularly comforting) ...Worrying about how to get in and out of there....

I don't miss living there.

Appreciate all the feedback! Please note, I was not a beer thrower nor would I ever do that! Just filmed everything going on around the arena! But a lot of people dont understand... that was the worst departure from a team in the history of sports!

You dont say this: "I got a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's to bring an NBA championship here to Cleveland," James said. "And I won't stop until I get it."

^ I'm pretty sure that's saying "I won't stop playing for Cleveland until I bring them an NBA Championship."

And not to mention he was born and raised just outside Cleveland, led everyone up to believe he was going to be the savior of the city. He didnt even try recruiting anyone to possibly come to Cleveland and be the Scottie Pippen we needed. And then nationally televised that he was "taking his talents to South Beach." No one has ever done that but him.

I lost all my respect for LeBron as a person but still recognize that he is the best all around basketball player in the league. (or Kobe, whoever you believe) But I am still a die hard Cavs fan whether we suck or are good! That's what being a real fan is about.

But I really do appreciate all the feedback!

I suppose you wouldn't do any of those things if say situation was reversed and Kobe did it?

Agree. Accusing anyone else's fans of being "not classy" considering Boston's rep is like Mike Tyson telling Ron Artest he's crazy. Tyson might be right..but...

This video is awesome. I loved every second of it. I was hoping more people would have thrown beer or items at LeBron.
