Ive seen a few of their games this year so far, just watched them beat the Lakers in crunch time with Kobe going off for 41. Rush is having a breakout year, Granger is healthy. Hibbert is a beast! Their frontcourt length and toughness really gave Pau and Odom problems tonight.

They have a good team as far as the east goes, I fully expect them to be last years "Bucks" as the team you dont want to face in the first round. They have a solid front court and back court, and are young.

I think it will be Indiana and New York fighting it out for the 6th seed this year.

Best thing about this is we're tied again for hc. I know the spurs have a better record, but I don't believe we'd see them in the finals providing we make it.

indiana has had a couple nice wins of late. They are a team that could spoil in the post season

They are really good and congratulations on them beating LA. They are developing a defensive mindset that is a trademark of Jim Obrien coached teams. I like what Hibbert, Granger, Brandon Rush, and Darren Colison gives them. I ought to go over the OKC game against them. Lakers did not really show up until the third qtr and it cost them tonight. Hey why not challenge Chicago for the division title and a three seed.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

They're not going to challenge the Bulls. Currently with Boozer out they're roughly equal, but once Boozer is in the Bulls line up they'll be a far better team.

Solid wins by the Pacers as of late, I need to sit down and watch them play. Every game I've watched Hibbert's gotten in foul trouble, so I have yet to see him improved game.

  • Rondo = Good
They're still a solid starting PF and a better SG (plus a couple more years to mature) away from being a really formidable team, but they've been impressive so far this year given how much they've improved.  Hibbert in particular has emerged as a true building block for them.

Collison, Granger, and Hibbert could be a really decent core for them as long as Collison starts to show more of the flashes that were evident last year when he was given the keys to the Hornets with Paul out.

Believe it or not, Im already counting one of our losses for this yr. against this team. They're just too scrappy, works hard on defense and they have a go to guy in the crunch which are elements of a good playoff team.

Larry Legend has been quite patient with this team, slowly building the pieces and if healthy, they could give any team fits in the first round of the playoffs.

I for one thinks they will be a 4-6 seed this yr and I like their team better than the one built in South Beach.

I’ve always liked his teams.

I'm not afraid of his teams, though.  The scrappy defensive approach can be offset by making the extra pass, they help so much there's always an open man, and the C's are probably best in the league at getting the ball to the open guy.  That's why Jason Kidd used to kill us - I've no doubt in my mind that Rondo can do the same against them.

They're also (again) one of the teams that shoots the most 3's, despite being middle-of-the-pack in terms of making them.  Live by the 3, die by the 3 - get hot and you can beat anyone, but it's hard to sustain that over a seven game series.

Pacers missed 19 of 23 on their 3 pointers last night and still won.

They've been putting together a nice string of wins here lately. Granger is a great player and Hibbert is developing nicely. They've got some good potential and have good development going on.... However, sleeping on them, im not so sure about that. Any game against the Pacers I am really not worried about, especially when it comes to playoffs. I see 5, maybe even 6 teams in the East that would sweep the Pacers in the first round if thats what it came to.
