Another awesome game by Griffin, beating the SPURS. Some amazing highlights from him for this game will be coming soon.

31 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals.

Just as expected, when another weapon in Baron Davis comes back as he did today, teams have to deal with him, Eric Gordon, and Griffin. If Kaman comes back half as effective as he was last year, I see the Clippers making some noise.

This kid is amazing ... and to think he'll just be getting better and better. It's going to be a lot of fun watching him develop in this league.

The guy is an absolute monster, everytime I watch one of his games my jaw literally drops at the things he does out of nowhere.

Hes the most explosive player in the NBA. When the big 3 retires, what do the Celtics have to do to get this guy?

Rondo and Blake would be the most fun to watch duo in NBA history

They'll never get him.

Also, what's the over / under on how long it takes Griffin to injure himself again?

He plays for the Clippers and he has a ridiculously all-out-crash style (like Wade and Gerald Wallace, only in a big man) which makes him liable to get injured.  I feel like it's just a matter of time.

The missed dunk over Tiago was scary. Fortunately, he wasn't injured in that play.

And I'm praying that he won't get injured. He's an explosive player and it was fun to watch his highlights.

I dont think the comparison with Wade or Wallace is an accurate one as i dont believe you can get a propper understanding of what would happen if Blake would start battleing injurys on a constant basis.

If i were to compare Blake Griffin to anyone it would Antonio McDyess.

When McDyess came into the NBA he was a slighty inferior player to Griffin but with all the same skills (eg. could do everything that Griffin could do, Blake is just abit better at the point of their carrers)

If McDyess didnt battle injurys for most of his carrer he would be talked about in the same vein as Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace, he was that good but it didnt turn out that way and later in his carrer he had to re-tune his game to fit a different style and that worked out for him.

I think McDyess's carrer is a good "worst case scenario" for Blake Griffin, if all hell breaks loose he will still be very good, if he dosnt get major injurys he will be a dominant player 10+ years to come ala Kevin Garnett.

But he will never suffer in the same way as say Yao Ming or a Grant Hill, injurys will only force him to alter his game from what we see today to what McDyess does (he will just be a better shooter)

Here's a video to remind people of how McDyess actualy played during his early days:

It will be interesting to see how KG tries to guard Blake, once we meet them. I think our number 5 can slow him down, but Blake is a Load, with a capital L.

Blake is someone you have to keep your eyes on at all times, and even then it's nearly impossible to guard him.

It is normal to try to make comparisons, but I don't think Griffin compares to anyone I've seen.

Amare? I think Blake is out-rebounding him at this stage.

Karl Malone? A lot more explosive.

Tom Chambers? Same as Amare. Blake is outrebounding him, too.

Once he polishes his defense........WOW.

Seeing Blake makes me appreciate the young KG even more.

Now HE was the Total Package. Explosive. Defender. Scorer - from inside and out. Rebounder. Leader.

KG even played PG in Minny. :o.

Blake is an Absolute Beast, but he can sit at KG's dinner table once he starts playing PG.

But in fairness to Blake - even KG wasn't playing like Blake is RIGHT NOW - right out the box. It took KG 2-3 years to approach Beastdom.

Blake is truly "The Incredible Griff" as the Clippers Marvel Comics issue illustrates.

TP...I always felt he was going to be a beast in the NBA since watching him in college. He still need to develop a 15 to 16ft jumper just as KG had to.Once he adds a jumper it will make him closer to being a total package.

Go back in time, win the lottery for Greg Oden, trade Paul Pierce, suck for 2 more years, draft Griffin.

Although as long as the same people are running the show in Clipperland, I would not put anything past them.

Barkley had great hops for a guy his weight and size.  He was a great player, especially in his younger days.
