Maybe they can only play hard on defense for so long due to their age
They're playing a front court of BBD and Semih Erden, that's the problem on defense not effort.

Raptors still getting easy baskets with Davis andverden on the bench
I haven't seen that.

Maybe they should stop playing that combo. Meanwhile they are struggling to keep their lead with Shaquille and Garnett on the floor. 31 points for Toronto this quarter.

Rondo is forcing bad passes this quarter. He's had three turnovers that could have been avoided.

Rondo with 3-4 turnovers in a row.

Toronto has a talented team, at least the C's make them look good.

I want Shaq to do the Antoine wiggle after an awesome shot. Don't ask why, it just feels right to me.

I don't know if Doc has an option to avoid playing it, unless you think going small is the answer.

KG has been getting whacked inside.

we're shooting 60%, we're only up 4, how?? because of their 10 offensive rebound advantage

Maybe they can skip the second quarter the rest of the year. Another bad one in the books. Getting killed on the boards.

Toronto has been crashing the glass hard, the good news is that though the C's haven't taken care of the defensive glass they've taken advantage in transition.

The C's have 6 points at least because they're not getting back.

Gettning destroyed on the rebounds again, Toronto- 25 (12 offensive), Boston- 15 (3 offensive).

Hope they can tighten up in the 2nd half. This team will put you through about 20 different emotions per quarter ???

A lot of good things tonight from C's: Rondo looks great, the lobs to KG and Shaq are awesome, overall the offense is pretty good (except Davis continues his outside-shooting funk -- Oh! and can they make a layup or two? that'd be nice). Defensively, though, they've gotta buckle down. They've given up way too many points. I realize that Toronto is young and athletic -- you know, all those adjectives we like to toss out whenever the C's stink it up on D -- but Boston's better than this.
