much better effort tonight

the effort is always there, it´s the motivation which is lacking from time to time

defensive effort has been lacking the last 2 games. tonight they are playing much harder on that end

that´s because we´re playing the Hawks, one of our most beloved enemies
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Shaq is crushing the Hawks, they dont have an answer for him, one of the Hawks announcers claimed the only thing they could do against shaq was "Make him move his feet" lol

Rondo with a terrible suit. Guy must have just bought it, whens the last time he actually sat out of a game?

Yesterday.

Great half of basketball...Sidenote: The way Lawrence Franks screeches on the sideline reminds me of Rick Pitino. Those were the days…

What a difference a little motivation makes.

kinda says it all - when this team is motivated, they are very, very strong ................. strong even with two starters and a key bench player out - wow !!

there is something special about the hate i have for the hawks - always has been ....... these past three seasons and back to the 80's. may have something to do with the fact that from knoxville here, i always drove down to atlanta to see the Celts during the 70's & 80's.

of course, there was 1988, when they thought they finally had us, up 3-2 with the series going back to atlanta. but that bunch of Celtics wasn't about to lose to the Hawks. then of course, last season's embarrassing sweep with the Hawks players celebrating in the Garden after the 4th game.

but i also recently realized, of course, the Hawks are one of our oldest rivals way back to the 50's. what's not to hate ?

The starters definitely don't want to come back in for the fourth.
